Applicant: Dog Guides of Canada is proposing to establish its corporate offices and training and teaching facility on the subject lands. A new building will be constructed on the site to meet Dog Guides unique service requirements. The proposed building and site layout include: - 2 storey structure with a total floor area of approximately 8,129 sq. m; - office administration area; - teaching/training areas: 4 large training areas, teaching classrooms, meeting rooms; - client, caregiver and supervisory staff bedroom area (approximately 42 rooms) - kennel area to accommodate dog guides in training; - ancillary facilities: kitchen and seating area (for clients, caregivers and supervisory staff), veterinary clinic (for dog guides in training), amenity courtyard and reception area..
