Falgarwood is an established residential community in east Oakville, north of the QEW and generally east of Trafalgar Road. Ravine and creek green space associated with the area's watercourses runs between many of its streets.
The neighbourhood was developed mainly in the 1960s and 1970s and consists largely of detached homes, with some townhomes and apartments. Iroquois Shoreline Woods Park forms part of its eastern edge and connecting trails provide open space, and commercial services are available along Trafalgar Road and Upper Middle Road.
